Malkerson Modern Art Gallery has an extraordinary collection of contemporary art highlighting thirty different artists. Oil paintings, sculpture, mixed media, photography and large installations grace the old adobe space. Each year in April there is a selected Art Exhibition focusing on art work and installations by emerging and career artists.
Carrizozo Clay features ceramic pottery items including sculpture, functional and decorative (lamps). Bird feeders, figures, paintings, tiles and bowls, all can be found in this creative shop.
Gallery 401, Audrey Paton Antiques, offers rare antiques and furnishings from Europe and New Mexico. Some items were recently purchased at the RC Gorman estate sale.
Gallery 408 is the home of the Painted Burros of Southern New Mexico. These lively sculptures have been painted and embellished by local artists. Fine craft, folkart and photography are showcased in this Gallery.
